So much has been heard and said about Kala Ghoda, the quaint little cultural hub of Mumbai!

It's near Jehangir Art Gallery. The Jehangir Art Gallery is Mumbai's most famous art gallery and a tourist attraction.

The annual Kala Ghoda Arts festival features the visual arts, dance, music, theatre, cinema, literature, lectures, seminars and workshops, heritage walks, special events for children, and a vibrant street festival.

Artisans sell their creations in the Mela. Artists sketch instant portraits and caricatures on the street.

One such street artist is busy sketching a portrait of a lady sitting in front of him at kala Ghoda.

    i've see artists like these peddling their skills for a buck or two.. i've also wanted to try it out but haven't had the chance to do so.. :) i wonder how i would look on a sketch.. :D you've captured a nice candid shot here.. :)
